ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
A mixture of at least 7 GCSEs at Grade 6 or

or separate IB Prospectus.
ASSESSMENT
All six subjects are scored out of 7 points, meaning
whether you study something at HL or SL it counts
equally towards your final score. The maximum
possible score is 45: seven points for each subject,
plus a maximum of three for the Core.
“Studying the IB allowed me to continue studying
a range of very different subjects. This really
appealed to me as I was keen to try new subjects
which I had not previously studied at school,
such as Economics and Psychology, whilst at the
same time able to continue with subjects such
as English and Biology. The teaching has been
really inspiring, with lessons being very discussion
based, applying theory to real world and current
issues. This had made learning exciting and
thought provoking. I also attended the Mandarin
enrichment group which allowed me to extend my
language learning outside of the IB. I also became
a member of the Youth Parliament for Brighton &
Hove and spoke in Parliament.”
