Highgrove House & Gardens, the iconic gardens developed by His Majesty King Charles
III. Launched in June, it boasts a seasonal, botanically inspired experience that champions
sustainability and seasonality, in a celebration of the very best of British produce. The new
ofering the hotel9s award-winning 8A Tribute to Nature9 afternoon tea, taking inspiration
from the most iconic of British gardens to deliver an experimental take on the classic British
tradition in a sophisticated display of navour. Working with locally sourced, seasonal produce, the afternoon tea will explore the best ingredients available in England through a carefully curated selection of imaginative dishes that pay tribute to the rich navours of nature.

11. The Best of British Seasonal
Cornus will open in London9s Belgravia in mid-July - a rooftop one dining restaurant from
David O9Connor and Joe Mercer-Nairne of the acclaimed Chelsea restaurant, Medlar.
Joining from the Michelin-starred Angler, Chef Gary Foulkes will lead the kitchen, ofering
a regularly changing menu that will showcase British seasonal produce through precise
and vibrant cookery. It will continue to build on the exceptional hospitality that O9Connor
and his team have cultivated at Medlar, with many former team members returning for the
project. Melania Battiston (former Head Sommelier at Medlar) will lead the wine ofering,
taking guests through a selection of unique bottles chosen for their individual stories and
the impression that they have left on the team.

12. The Peninsula Opens Oïcially
London9s most spectacular, new luxury hotel The Peninsula London was the setting for
a magical Grand Opening Celebration on 18 June. Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and
Duchess of Edinburgh joined luminaries from the oelds of art, olm and entertainment
including Sophie Turner, Sabrina Elba, Billie Piper, Lady Helen Taylor, Pixie Geldof and
many more. Over 2,500 guests from across the globe took over the hotel for an unforgettable
night of entertainment and exceptional hospitality, accompanied by energetic Chinese Lion
Dancing, music from the London Philharmonic Orchestra, a roster of nine live bands and
renowned DJs, and a courtyard olled with gourmet food trucks and priceless vintage cars.
Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh honoured the occasion by
unveiling a commemorative plaque, marking the culmination of this momentous project,
which has been nearly 35 years in the making. The Hon. Sir Michael Kadoorie, Chairman of
The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels welcomed guests along with his family.

13. Camp VC: From Motorcycles to Knitting
