The quality to be obtained on a surface is
associated to the cutting feed especially of
each tooth feed and the number of teeth of
the tool. The feed speed can be easily calculated as following and determined by the
diagram:

coupe, est associée à la vitesse d’avance,
en particulier par l’avance de chaque dent
et le nombre de dents de l’outil. L’avance de
coupe peut être déterminé selon la formule
suivante, pouvant être aussi déterminé par
le diagramme:

Fz = Feed speed per edge in mm by rotation
n = Maximum allowable cutter rpm
Z = Number of teeth
Dans laquelle:
Feed speed per edge (Fz):
0,3-0,8 mm: good finishing
0,8-2,5 mm: medium finishing
2,5-5,0 mm: rough finishing
Avance par dent (Fz):
0,3-0,8 mm: bonne finition
0,8-2,5 mm: finition moyenne
2,5-5,0 mm: ébauche
