Styperson Pool Cottage - Flipbook - Page 4
DESCRIPTION
Styperson Pool Cottage is a truly charming period
property, constructed of stone and Cheshire brick, all
surmounted by a stone roof. Situated in an unrepeatable
position overlooking its own fishing lake with a twisting
path traversing the northern shore. An abundance of
flora and fauna makes this a magical location.
The cottage itself requires some thoughtful restoration
and is perfect for someone with a passion for the British
countryside and a desire for a rewarding project.
Upton entering through the front door you are welcomed
by a spacious boot room with ample space for outdoor
clothing, equipment and fishing tackle. The sitting
room, featuring an open fire, is next. Adjoining this is
the central hallway, which includes a staircase leading
to the first floor. The kitchen and dining room are
situated toward the rear of the property, with the kitchen
providing access to the garden through the back door.
The first floor features a principal bedroom with an en
suite and a guest bedroom serviced by a spacious family
bathroom. Both bedrooms offer spectacular views across
the lake to the stone boathouse and several fishing pegs
dotted around the shore.
Styperson Pool is a well established fishing lake currently
operated by a local fishing club, subject to a Fishing
Licence which can be terminated with one months’
notice. Accessed to the side of the cottage with ample
parking adjoining the cottage and along the retaining
wall, the pool is primarily accessed along the northern
shore. The water area extends to 6.88 acres whilst the
whole site is 9.44 acres in total.
