Sandhole Farm - Flipbook - Page 4
DESCRIPTION
Upon entering this estate, which is tucked behind
gates on a leafy road, the impression of quality begins.
Stylish and orderly, it opens with the riding area and
culminates at the late 19th-century cottage, housing
four bedrooms and two bathrooms. An elegant
drawing room spans left of the house, topped with
white-painted beams and a pair of bubble chandeliers,
with French doors open onto a stove-paved terrace. A
modern farmhouse-style kitchen shares an open floor
plan with a dining space and cosy snug. A further
living space leading through to a study is accented with
metallic fabric walls and a textured wool and sisal floor.
And so, the character continues. On the first floor,
the principal bedroom boasts a vaulted ceiling, Juliet
balcony and a bespoke wood-panelled storage wall.
The glamorous walk-through dressing area and en
suite bathroom with gleaming copper William Holland
bath has a window view. Decorated with an impeccable
eye and a honing for craft, for instance the choice of
a Jamb chimneypiece in the roomy living room and
custom-made joinery throughout, the look is a balance
between a farmhouse vernacular, expensive materials
and an interior chosen to impress.
