From Alderley Edge proceed in a southerly direction to
Monks Heath crossroads. Continue over the crossroads,
on the A34, passing Capesthorne Hall on your right.
Proceed for about 1.8 miles, turning left into Redesmere
Lane, sign-posted ‘Henbury’. Drive past Redesmere Lake
and continue for about 0.7 of a mile, where the lane
becomes Fanshawe Lane. Continue along, rising up the
hill, until Robins Cob can be found on the right hand
side, clearly marked by impressive solid electric gates.
LO C AT I O N
Robins Cob is located in the pretty, rural hamlet of
Henbury and enjoys a rural location, yet is extremely
close to the nearby towns and villages of Alderley Edge,
Holmes Chapel, Wilmslow and Chelford, which provide
a wealth of shopping, educational and recreational
facilities. The railway station at Alderley Edge provides
easy access to Manchester and London, with the major
arterial route of the M6 being only some 9 miles distant.
