GARDENS & GROUNDS
The gardens and grounds are truly stunning and are a
real feature of the Hall. They consist of manicured lawns
and are formal in nature, with numerous areas of clipped
box hedging with ornamental yew trees sitting centrally,
forming many interesting parterres. A number of large,
mature trees are interspersed throughout the gardens.
Two sets of impressive wrought-iron gates lead to a gravel
drive with an expansive parking and turning area abutting
the Hall and integral three car garaging. A deep mature
planted border with high red brick wall behind and
espalier fruit trees form the boundary to the rear wing.
Cathedral grade Yorkstone flagged terraces abut the Hall
and enjoy views of the gardens and can be accessed from
the kitchen and orangery. An extremely pretty summer
house overlooks the outdoor swimming pool, with electric
cover, which is surrounded by stone flagged seating area
and is hidden from view by mature yew hedging. Behind
the pool is a grass tennis court with a pathway that leads
through the gardens and extensive lawns.
The gardens enjoy views of the level paddock land,
segmented into three paddocks, one of which runs down
to Swim Brook. Sitting within the paddock land is the
fully fenced Landtech manege with timber stable block
with two stables, tack and feed room.
