Set in a lush valley within the Peak District National Park
beside the River Dane, Wincle is pretty as a picture. Fishing,
walks and cycling are all enjoyed amongst locals and
visitors who enjoy scenic views. There is an excellent pub
serving homemade food and a popular boutique brewery.
The village is equidistant with the busy market towns of
Leek and Macclesfield. From Macclesfield, there are direct
trains to Manchester and London and there is a good choice
of well-regarded private and state schools in the area.
