Meadows End - Flipbook - Page 4
DESCRIPTION
Situated in beautiful countryside, not too far from
Macclesfield and yet a world away, this four-bedroom
detached home built in the 1930s is has a distinctive
architectural style synonymous with the Art Deco
period. Covetable large bay windows and original doors
are a highlight, and in terms of comfort and possibilities
– especially given the good-sized plot - is full of
promise. In all, it is a relaxed and happy home where
the peaceful setting is the focal point.
On the ground floor are two reception rooms, a kitchen,
conservatory, and music room. The hallway features
an original picture rail, and the front living room is
fashionably decorated with a dark-stained timber floor.
This runs through to a second sitting room at the rear,
where you watch canal boats in the distance slowly
sailing by. Although a seasonal room, the conservatory
is wonderfully bright and makes the most of the view.
From the kitchen is a useful pantry and downstairs WC.
This leads through to a practical lean-to across the side
passage, which is great for extra space. Upstairs, are four
double bedrooms and a lovely large bathroom. Here,
you wake up to silence or the occasional sound of sheep.
