DESCRIPTION
By the Bridle is a handsome country house constructed
by the current owners in 2006 of hand-made
Leicestershire bricks with Derbyshire stone mullion
windows, all surmounted by a Welsh slate roof.
The house has been built with a real eye to detail,
with a no expense spared mantra evident throughout
all three floors of accommodation. The interior has
a suite of generously proportioned reception rooms
with high ceilings, with features including American
walnut flooring, bespoke carved oak staircase, solid
oak doors, coved ceilings, open fireplaces with carved
stone surrounds, air conditioned gym, bespoke stone
tiled bathrooms with Aquavision TV to the master
bedroom and a granite-topped Poggenpohl kitchen.
The crowning glory is not only its bespoke, state of the
art interior, but also its magical setting, with stunning
far-reaching rural views from the rear of the house
which, together with its location on one of the most
prestigious roads in Mottram St Andrew, makes it a
real rarity to the marketplace.
