From Wilmslow head out to Adlington, past Adlington
Hall on the right hand side. At the traffic lights crossing
the main London Road (A523) proceed straight ahead
into Brookledge Lane. After just over 1 mile turn right
into Sugar Lane and the single track/drive leading to
Breck Cottage will be seen on your left hand side.

Breck Cottage has the most magical location, set within
a rural idyll with outstanding lake and countryside
views, yet is close to Pott Shrigley - a picturesque small
village nestled amidst beautiful Cheshire countryside,
close to the Peak District National Park.
The cottage is within easy reach of the vibrant centres
of Bollington, Prestbury, Wilmslow and Alderley
Edge, which cater for all your daily needs. The nearby
village of Adlington has a well-respected primary
school (ranked 48th in The Times Parent Power Best
UK Schools Guide 2022) and golf course, with nature
lovers delighting in the proximity to The Middlewood
Way and the Macclesfield canal, providing wonderful
rural walks.
For the commuter there are railway stations in
Adlington (with free parking), Poynton and Prestbury,
with a train from Macclesfield to London Euston
in under two hours. The M56 and M6 motorway
networks are nearby, plus Manchester Airport is within
easy reach for international travel.
