A Mini Musicals showcase
and Beauty and the Beast

DECEMBER was a month full of festive joy for Hayling Musical Society as they delighted the community
with carolling performances at various locations.
From Stokes Fruit Farm and Wimborne Nursing
Home to Hayling Donkeys and The Lions Club Christmas Event, the society brought holiday cheer to countless residents.
These performances have become a cherished tradition, spreading warmth and joy throughout the season.
Beyond the carolling, these events serve as a way to
give back to the community while promoting the society’s passion for music and theatre.
As 2025 begins, the society is excited to announce
Mini Musicals, a vibrant show performed by the Hayling Youngstars. This special production will run from
February 19th to 22nd at Hayling Community Centre.
Directed by some of the Youngstars themselves, this
unique project gives the younger generation—many of
whom have been part of the society since childhood—a
chance to take the lead, with guidance and support
from adult members.
What makes Mini Musicals even more meaningful

is its focus on songs from shows that have been performed by the society in the past.
This tribute to Hayling Musical Society’s rich history
is a wonderful way to celebrate its legacy while showcasing the talents of its next generation. With a mix
of timeless classics and modern favourites, the show
promises something for everyone, making it an event
not to be missed.
Looking ahead, the society is thrilled to announce
its next adult production, Beauty and the Beast. Set to
grace the stage this July, this beloved tale promises to
captivate audiences with its enchanting story, unforgettable songs, and stunning performances.
The team is already hard at work bringing this magical production to life, and further details, including
ticket information and casting announcements, will be
revealed in the coming months.
