Hayling Beach Babes: Sing-song

Hayling Beach Babes
THE events team of
our Hayling Beach
Babes WI group arranged a hugely successful event for our
Christmas meeting.
We were delighted to
welcome Dan The Singing Coach, for a one-off
group singing session.
Dan Cooper is a professional choir leader
and vocal coach and
was brave enough to
come to our meeting
and teach approximately 60 of our ladies to
sing Elton John’s classic
song Step into Christmas.
We sang (or tried
to sing!) and danced
along learning the lyrics
line by line. We had a
great time with a lot of
laughter and by the end
of the session managed
a recognizable rendition
of the song!
Mulled wine and
mince pies followed to
complete the festivities.
This month we are
looking forward to
celebrating the fifth
birthday of our Hayling
Beach Babes WI with
The Beach Babes singing at the top of their lungs with help from Dan The Singing Coach
another lively event!

THE 3rd Hayling Scouts book sale is bigger than ever. The book sale will be
running again for its 31st year!
We have more than 12,000 books on offer covering fiction (sorted in alphabetical order), non-fiction (sorted by category) and a huge range of children’s
books suitable for all ages.
Come and see us this half term at Scout HQ Kings Road, Hayling Island,
PO11 0PE and find a bargain.
We will be open Wednesday, February 19th to Saturday, February 22nd. Entry
is free and any books sold will help support the 200 members in 3rd Hayling
Scout.
