Carmel Dreamers
This two-year initiative will connect 10th grade
students from Jewish and Druze high schools in
Haifa with Jewish high school students in
Boston, fostering dialogue, understanding,
and meaningful relationships across cultures.
Through structured activities and immersive
experiences, students will gain valuable skills
in critical thinking, empathetic listening, and
intercultural communication. Carmel Dreamers
will strive to celebrate diversity, foster dialogue,
develop critical thinking and empathetic
listening skills, and promote social responsibility.

Jewish Story Lab (JSL)
Jewish Story Lab offers a unique opportunity
for students to delve into their Jewish identity
through storytelling, service learning, and
community engagement. Our first JSL class is
having a blast learning about Jewish history,
doing service projects, and creating their own
Jewish stories. Together with their families they
are making social connections, celebrating
Shabbat and other Jewish holidays, and creating
shared experiences that reinforce Jewish values.
JSL is for students in grades 6-8. Find more
information and get ready to enroll in next
year’s class. bostonjcc.org/jsl
