The airport is the single largest employer in Georgia, providing
more than 63,000 jobs on site and
generating a $34.8 billion economic
impact for metro Atlanta. Often
referred to as the “economic jewel of
Georgia,” ATL recently embarked its
capital improvement program, ATLNext, a 20-year blueprint for growth
that Delta is heavily invested in. The
$10.8 billion project includes renovations to all nine Delta Sky Clubs at
Hartsfield-Jackson, a major expansion of Concourse D that will feature
a new 26,000-square-foot Delta Sky
Club, and the introduction of new
tools such as Delta Digital ID, which
will allow passengers to check bags
and move through security without
