community by increasing penalties
for several crimes, eliminating cash
bail for some offenses to keep criminals off our streets and combatting
illegal immigration in so-called
sanctuary cities that have not been
complying with federal immigration authorities.
Every family deserves to feel
safe in their homes and communities, and we will seek to continue
bolstering public safety by further
increasing penalties, increasing

funding for our state prison system
and supporting our law enforcement heroes who put their lives on
the line every day to protect their
fellow Georgians.
As we continue to discuss public
safety, bolstering security in our
schools will be at the forefront of
those conversations. In September,
