reality in 2018 and it is hard to find
a better place for a career change
and connection to the land and its
fruits. Mark and Sandi both became
certified wine judges and earned
Certified Specialist of Wine degrees.
“Stonewall Creek Winery not only
has fabulous wine but the winery
and its scenery is a beautiful place to
visit,” said one dedicated customer.”
Stonewall Creek Vineyards has continued to grow the vineyard planting
two new varietals, Tocia Friulano (an
Italian grape), and Chambourcin (a
hybrid). Stonewall Creek Vineyards
has not only world class views but
world class wine. It recently won
“Winery of Distinction”, best red
wine, best white wine, best rosé,
best dessert wine and best hybrid
grape wine in The Georgia Trustees
Wine and Spirits Competition. It has
also won Gold, Double Gold and
“Best in Class” for its Petit Manseng
wines at the prestigious San Francisco International wine competition.
Stonewall Creek Winery and Tasting
Room has added an indoor event
space and hosts wine dinners and
other events and festivals throughout
the year in addition to it’s tasting
room activities.
“Now we are living our dream
that started as a hobby. We have a
vineyard and winery, and we want
to make excellent, perfectly-balanced
wines. We hope to share our passion
and our knowledge of wine with
others at Stonewall Creek Vineyards.
We believe if we make exceptionally
good wine people will come, and the
word will spread.”
