endeavor is the $2 billion Gathering at South
Forsyth, a massive mixed-use development
that hopes to eventually lure an NHL team
back to the Peach State.

Jackson Healthcare is one of the
largest medical staffing firms in
the nation, and part of Forbes’ list
of “America’s Largest Private
Companies.” Jackson, though, would tell you
that his true passion is in philanthropy, and
specifically helping underserved foster
children. He co-founded FaithBridge Foster
Care which has grown into one of the
premier adoption agencies in the state, as
well as Fostering Success Act, Inc., a
nonprofit focused on providing resources
and support to young people aging out of
Georgia’s foster care system.

Georgia’s First Lady has always
made her presence felt, whether at
her husband’s side or by diving
headfirst into driving legislation
herself. Her greatest accomplishment may
be helping create the GRACE Commission
which focuses on fighting human trafficking, but she’s also pushing policies dealing
with early childhood literacy, mental health
and foster care.

The youngest daughter of Atlanta’s
legendary late civil rights leader
Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., she has
followed in her father’s footsteps
both as a minister and a voice for social
justice. In overseeing the Center, King enjoys
an influential bully pulpit and is not shy
about speaking out on issues especially
relevant to black Americans.
