low-income backgrounds.
George’s steady hand is getting
Norfolk Southern back on track
after some trying years. The
railroad is the most extensive
intermodal network in the eastern U.S.,
connecting more than 54 inland, lake, river
and sea ports as a key cog in the nation’s
infrastructure. Here at home, he serves on
the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Georgia.

of roles in the utility industry as
she worked her way up to the top
of Georgia Power and its 2.7 million
customers statewide. Her first big win: Plant
Vogtle opening the first new nuclear units in
the U.S. in three decades. The respected
executive serves on the boards of the Metro
Atlanta Chamber, the Georgia Research
Alliance and the Rowen Foundation.
