strategies for freight and logistics. This includes access

clean-energy plan to help prepare the district for the

Perimeter CIDs
Home to perhaps the most commuters anywhere
in the metro, the Perimeter CIDs are located at the
junction of I-285 and Georgia 400. The iconic King and
Queen buildings are here and it has seen a huge influx
of housing since it started 25 years ago. The CIDs have
invested nearly $50 million in infrastructure, programs
and projects, with an additional $61 million in state and
federal dollars enhancing 169 CID projects.
Beyond what Perimeter has historically been
known for, new developments are ready to top out,
including the anticipated High Street. It will bring new
opportunities to Perimeter’s entertainment and culinary experience. Phase one of development will create
150,000 square feet of new retail and restaurant space,
plus 90,000 square feet of new office space and 600
luxury apartments.
High Street will be a vibrant spot for after-work and
weekend entertainment, featuring retail shops, a threequarter-acre park, mini golf and bar experiences, plus
space for concerts and farmers markets. Families can
stroll along tree-lined paths to open greenspace after
dinner, while visitors can enjoy the shops and residents
can show their neighborhood off to their friends.
True North 400 CID
Going back outside the perimeter of I-285, True North
400 (formerly North Fulton CID) was formed in 2003.
