KATIE KIRKPATRICK
PRESIDENT & CEO, METRO ATLANTA CHAMBER
This longtime top lobbyist and onetime engineer became the Chamber’s president and CEO in 2020,
making her the second woman to
lead Atlanta’s top business advocacy group.
She serves on the GRACE Commission dedicated to fighting human trafficking, as well as
on the board of directors for the Atlanta Track
Club and Central Atlanta Progress.
STEVE KOONIN
CEO, ATLANTA HAWKS
A former Coca-Cola and Turner
Broadcasting exec, the hard-driving Koonin has overseen all of
the Hawks’ off-court dealings
since 2014. In that time he has led the team
through a rebrand, an ownership change
and a major renovation of State Farm Arena,
which was subsequently ranked first in the
league for “Overall Game Experience.”
VERNON KRAUSE
CEO, KRAUSE AUTO GROUP
In 1991 Krause opened his first car
dealership with Krause Family Ford
in Woodstock. Today he owns 20
dealerships across the Southeast
with more than 1,000 employees. He is the
brains (and money) behind a proposed $2 billion Forsyth County development that hopes
to lure an NHL team back to the Peach State.
JOON LEE
CEO, EMORY HEALTHCARE
This Korea-born cardiologist
became CEO of Atlanta’s Emory
Healthcare in 2023 after spending 27 years at the University of
Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Lee is responsible for 11 hospitals, 250 provider locations
and more than 24,000 employees, all part
of Georgia’s most comprehensive academic
health system.
KELLY LOEFFLER
CHAIR, GREATER GEORGIA ACTION
The former U.S. senator’s name
is often mentioned as a possible
2026 statewide candidate, but the
seasoned businesswoman’s focus
for now remains on this year’s elections
where her Greater Georgia voter outreach/
turnout group is playing a pivotal role in the
GOP’s effort to ensure that Georgia remains
politically red.
GRIFF LYNCH
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, GEORGIA PORTS AUTHORITY
It seems that month after month,
year after year Georgia ports
continue to break shipping records.
Major infrastructure upgrades such
as deepening the Port of Savannah have led
to it becoming the fourth busiest port in
the U.S. and kicked off a scramble to expand
truck and rail access to meet demand. A good
problem to have— and it’s a testament to
Lynch’s effective leadership.
BERNIE MARCUS
BUSINESSMAN, PHILANTHROPIST
Like his former business partner
Arthur Blank, with whom he
founded Home Depot, Marcus is
best known as one of the nation’s
most generous philanthropists. In election
years he’s also known as a prominent GOP
Agriculture & Consumer Affairs
Robert Dickey Musella
Appropriations
Matt Hatchett Dublin
Banks & Banking
mega-donor with a special interest in economic and small business policy issues.
NICK MASINO
PRESIDENT & CEO, GWINNETT CHAMBER OF
COMMERCE
Gwinnett is one of the nation’s
fastest growing counties, and its
business community is expanding
right along with it. Once Georgia’s
youngest mayor, Masino is a key figure in
that growth, and has the most diverse chamber board of directors in county history while
implementing a strategic plan that promises
to capitalize on it.
