Melinda Gates Foundation. She also serves on
the President’s Advisory Council on African
Diaspora Engagement.

This veteran of the energy sector began her career at Southern
Company as an engineer designing
equipment for fossil and nuclear
power generation. Fast forward some 30 years

utility as it opens the first new nuclear generating units in the U.S. in three decades at
Plant Vogtle.
Well-known for her transportation/infrastructure expertise,
Hanlon oversees a fast-growing
metro Atlanta commercial district.
She was the first female chair of the Council
for Quality Growth and tirelessly serves on
various boards including the Greater North
Fulton Chamber of Commerce, the Sandy
Springs and Dunwoody Perimeter Chambers of Commerce and DeKalb Chamber of
Commerce.

The nation’s 7th busiest transit
system is busier than ever, with a
particular focus on Bus Rapid Transit expansion into new counties,
including Clayton County. Greenwood, who
serves as vice chair of the Standards Development Oversight Council for the American
Public Transportation Association, strives to
promote the transit system as a safe service
that advances connectivity.
