Low Carb “Breads” – Join our chefs to bake without grains in this hands-on workshop. From burger
buns to bread as well as pizza, low carb doesn’t mean you miss out on comfort food.
Plant Based Cheeses –Commercially available plant-based cheeses are often filled with chemicals and
other nasties, but at JA Manafaru we use only real ingredients. Create two types of vegan cheeses in
this hands-on workshop.

advise how to create tasty nourishing broth as well as a Sri Lankan Ayurvedic soup long used as a
remedies for chills.

Recipe Conversion Class – Do you have a favourite recipe that no longer fits your lifestyle? Or have
you fallen in love with a dish on our menu? Our chefs can provide personalised advice during this
class.
Vegan Sauces – Our chefs will guide you in this cooking class to make plant-based versions of
traditional sauces, using everyday ingredients, as well as some special items made from konjac.
Cocotella and Jam –Store bought Nutella contains palm oil, which is a major contributor to
deforestation and habitat loss throughout Asia. This sustainability focused workshop will demonstrate
the methods to make our palm oil free version of this pantry staple– Cocotella, as well as how to use
overripe fruit to make jams to reduce food waste.
