Healthy Consultative Relationships
The following graphic shows how the annual cycle of Grant & Fiscal Timelines aligns to the various
overlapping stages of the program cycle. The reverse side describes different consultative topics and
questions for Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and Tribes to consider together throughout an academic
year. It also identifies key information that LEAs can share throughout the school year to support
healthy consultative relationships with tribes and to improve coordination of supports for Indigenous
learners.
