AVIATION & TECH BOOT CAMP
5th Annual Youth Stem Program

Program Format:
Our program is a three-day camp designed to introduce
underserved youth to the oeld of aviation as well as spur their
ability to imagine an engaging professional life. This program is
for youth that typically have limited access to experiential forms
of education and may not be able to imagine their own ability to
become future leaders, both within aviation and their community.
The camp includes an airport tour, classroom instruction, and an
introductory night in a small aircraft.
Objectives:
Our objective is to address the growing need for qualioed pilots in
the aviation industry by providing exposure to the oeld of aviation
and mentoring underserved youth to become airline pilots. By
doing so, we hope to help close the pilot shortage gap while also
providing new opportunities for underserved communities.
Current Metrics:
Each cohort of the Aviation & Tech Boot Camp consists of 15
students. Over the past years, the program has successfully
trained and mentored 15 students, all of those students are highly
motivated for a career in aviation.
Demographics:
By partnering with the Atlanta School district, we can identify and
connect with students who are not only passionate about Aviation
& Tech but will also beneot immensely from from it, allowing us
to make a positive impact on their lives and the community as a
whole.

The program is based in Atlanta, Georgia, New York and we are
excited to launch in new markets!
Service Areas:
The program is sponsored by the Atlanta Hartsoeld Airport,
Tuskegee Airman INC., State Of Georgia, City Of Atlanta, and
Bombas.
Day 1: Airport Tour: Students will experience a one-of-a-kind
behind-the-scenes tour of the Atlanta Hartsoeld Airport, which
is the largest commercial airport. Students will be educated in all
aspects of airport operations, including control tower operations,
aircraft maintenance, airport security, and customer service.
Day 2: Classroom Instruction: Students will attend class at a local
airline training facility. Class topics will include online etiquette/
cyber safety, career paths to pilot jobs, and airport safety in
preparation for day three at the airport.
Day 3: Day at the Airport: Students will visit a local airport and
experience an introductory night in a small aircraft. Students will
have the opportunity to ny the aircraft under the supervision of
a qualioed night instructor. After attending the Aviation & Tech
Boot Camp, students will be mentored and assessed to guide them
toward becoming airline pilots.
