WARNINGS SYMBOLS
The warnings in this document are intended to draw
your attention to possible injury to persons or damage
to machinery.
The warnings are structured as follows:
The signal word differentiates between four levels
of danger:
» DANGER
Immediate danger of severe injury or death
SIGNAL WORD: Description of the type and
source of danger
» WARNING
The possible consequences of ignoring the
warning are described here.
Follow these measures to avoid the danger.
» CAUTION
Possible danger of severe injury or death
Risk of minor injuries
» NOTICE
Risk of extensive material/property damage
The following warning symbols are used:
WARNING: General Warning Symbol
WARNING: Risk of injury
ATTENTION : something could
be damaged.
PROTECTION : Bio-Hazard warning
PROTECTION : Wear protective gloves
PROTECTION : Wear protective goggles
PROTECTION : Use mouth & nose
protection
PROTECTION : Wear protective clothing
