EVOLUTION VETERINARY DENTAL UNITS
ULTRASONIC SCALER
The Ultra Sonic Scaler is used as described by supplier,
in the sub manual
Option 1 with the display attached.
Lift the scaler up and use the foot pedal to activate.
Use the plus and Minus keys on the digital display to
increase and decrease the power of the scaler as per the
recommended settings found on the Tip guide supplied
with the Tip.

To adjust the water use the blue coolant adjustment knob
with scaler icon (see figure 19)
Please refer to the tip manual which
accompanies the unit for the power settings
for each tip.
Option 2
If the dental machine does not have a digital display
use the scaler power adjustment, knob with the scaler
icon to increase or decrease the ultrasonic scaler power
(see figure 19)
To adjust the appropriate power for the scaling tip and the
procedure please see Operation section of this manual
which describes how to preset and adjust the scaler.
Two different Ultrasonic Scalers that can be attached to
the Evolution dental unit. One option uses P6 style scaling
Tips and the other option Ultra style scaling tips. The
choice should be made at purchase. The ultrasonic scaler
handpiece uses the symbols pictured (see figure. 20) ,
to indicate which tip should be used with the handpieces,
tips selection can be found at www.im3vet.com.
