The micromotor is used as described in the manual
supplied by iM3or visit www.im3vet.com
The Micromotor is intended to be used with contra-angles
handpieces with couplings specified in ISO 3964, type 2 or
type 3.

Lift up the micromotor and control it with the foot control.
To adjust the unit for intended use please see operation
section of this manual which describes how to preset and
adjust the motor.
To avoid necrosis, it is generally recommended
to work with a ‘wet’ spray that gives at least
50ml spray per minute measured with the
turbine handpiece fitted.
AIR INSTRUMENT
The hand piece connection is a 4 hole Midwest connection.

To activate the high or low speed handpiece, lift up the
handpiece and then press down on the foot pedal to
operate.
The water coolant spray for the handpiece can be adjusted
by using the blue coolant adjustment knob marked
with the handpiece icon on the side of the dental unit as
pictured below.

Handpiece operating pressures are preset in the factory,
when pressing the foot pedal/operating the Low Speed
motor the PSI should read 35psi-40psi and the Highspeed
handpiece should read 40psi.

To remove the low speed attachment from the air-motor
(low speed), pull the attachment upward away from the
motor. To remove a high speed handpiece or a low speed
air motor from the handpiece cable unscrew the plastic
handpiece cable connection anticlockwise.
During use air will be forced back down the handpiece
cabling, the air, is filtered before going into the
atmosphere. The filter is located in the connection between
the handpiece cable and the dental units and can be
accessed by accessed by unscrewing the outer plastic as
pictured below. This should be replaced at service or when
oil is visible on the tubing below the connection.
To replace the cable twist to align the holes and then
push upward.
