Simply Lemon Water
Ingredients:5 Lemons
1 litre of fresh spring water
Pepper corns (optional)
Or star fruit
Fresh mint or cloves
Squeeze the juice from the lemons and add to the
water with other ingredients of your choice.
What to do with those citrus skin peels
Make sure they are organic peels or you have cleaned with baking soda or apple cider vinegar Where do you begin
as the are so many ways to use them. Just by grating any of the peels over any dish can get those saliva juices
going. One of the first stages of digestion is to get the digestive juices going. Add to a salad or a sorbet or raw ice
cream.
Lemon Pith
Another HUGE benefit to your health is using the
skin pith (only from organic) The lemon pith helps to
flush out the unwanted bad oestrogen that build up
over the years from toxic overload and to having
much sugar. The pith is a tad bitter so add to
smoothies to help disguise the taste.
As for raw carrot cake you can add the orange peel to the mix.
Dehydrating orange skin and adding to tea is also a
wonderful way to use skin peel. You can use lemon
too and add a touch of fresh ginger too. You can
also add some pith and peel to your bath. Imagine
having the senses filled with citrus fruit and lit
candles around your bath. What more could you
wish for.
