Considering and
accepting an offer
It’s important to remember that a buyers first offer isn’t always their
best. Often, buyers will start slightly lower than their best price to try
and secure what they deem as a good deal. Of course, as your agent
it’s our job to negotiate on your behalf to get you the best possible
outcome.
We will ensure you’re given the ‘ full picture’ of the situation to aid you
when making your decision.

• Do they require a mortgage?
• Is there a chain? – what is the extent of that chain and how well

• What is their timescale?
It is also important to remember that money talks but it’s not
everything when it comes to selling. Consider your own position - are
you in a time sensitive situation?
Accepting the Offer
If you do accept an offer, unless otherwise disclosed this will likely be
subject to contingencies like survey and searches.
However far progressed, an offer isn’t legally binding until exchange
of contracts.
