Fix, Fix, Fix
Small outstanding repairs can be easy to ignore when
you see them every day, but when a buyer comes to
look around your property, little things like that can make
a property seem tired. Small outstanding jobs will give
buyers the impression there may be other hidden larger
jobs.
Don’t Forget to Clean
Cleaning is one of the most important factors of
preparing your home to sell. When wanting to portray
your property in the best light to prospective purchasers,
it is crucial the property is clean. Lack of cleaning can
lead buyers to think the property requires more work or
replacement of items, that in fact could’ve been cleaned.
E.g. Kitchens (oven, units, worktops, hobs, flooring, splash
backs, etc), bathroom (toilet, bath, shower screen, taps,
flooring, tiling), carpets, gardens (cutting the lawn,
weeding driveway and patios, jet wash decking).
