A RECAP OF HTC'S ROTH&CO ALUMNI TOURNAMENT AND
FAMILY FUN DAY
What a fantastic day we had at the HTC campus on May 6th! We're still buzzing from the energy and spirit of
community at our Roth&Co 3-on-3 HTC Alumni Tournament and Family Fun Day. Thank you to the 50 players
who competed on the court and the hundreds of guests who joined us to enjoy a beautiful day full of activities,
food, and fun.
Special thank you to our lead tournament sponsor, Roth&Co, and corporate sponsors, LifeStudio Group and
Warrior Group, for bringing the Rothner Family Gymnasium alive with competition and camaraderie as teams
showed off their skills and sportsmanship in the tournament. Congratulations to Efrayim Prero, Gavi Domsky,
Sammy Dordek and Issac Gordon on taking home the trophy!
Simultaneously, the campus was filled with laughter and joy during our Family Fun Day. Children and adults alike
enjoyed a barbeque, inflatables, cotton candy, and snow cones, making for an unforgettable afternoon for our
community.
FYHS STUDENTS PRESENT "NAMES, NOT NUMBERS®: A MOVIE
IN THE MAKING" 2024
Fasman Yeshiva High School extends a heartfelt thank you to the 600+ attendees and sponsors who joined us for
the FYHS "Names, Not Numbers" movie premiere on August 6th at the Holiday Inn North Shore in Skokie, IL.
Yeshiva students, faculty, parents, survivors, and community members gathered to watch the personal stories of
survival of Dr. Arthur Kohn, Motik Militsakh, Eva Ozarowski, Rena Quint, Israel Starck, and Joseph Wiesner,
hearing about their lives before the war, as well as their experiences during and immediately following the
Holocaust.
The “Names, Not Numbers®” program exposes students to first-hand experience with the filmmaking process,
and under the direction of skilled advisors and professionals, prepares them for the interviews, and the necessary
steps required for producing a meaningful documentary. During the school year, juniors and seniors worked with
various professionals, including Holocaust experts, respected journalists, and a filmmaker on the production of
“Names, Not Numbers®: A Movie in the Making.” Thank you to our sponsors, attendees, and students for making
this event possible!
