HUMAN GOALS FOR 2025
Health, safety & satisfaction
We have initiated a Zero injury policy and monitor
security observations closely in relation to sickness-related absence. Furthermore we aim to initiate an active
collaboration with the Danish Working Environment
Authority, to ensure a proactive approach to our initiatives. Our goal is to achieve the Danish Working Environment Authoritys Elite Smiley by 2024.
Certification & strategy
In 2021 we identified B-Corp as our 360º degree company certification – Early 2023 we obtained it!
We are very proud of this certification and the implemented improved actions which have served us good
score of 94,9 (80 being the passing level). The certification, among others, have high requirements to our
employee strategy, and thereby may help us identify an
effective strategy for diversity and inclusion.
Today we have, on a yearly basis, approximately 10%
employees on special contracts (e.g. §56 (chronically
and/or long-term illness) and/or flex workers). From
2022-23 we had 12,3% in total employees on special
contracts. and while we need a more systematic approach to our inclusion policy, we are in general open to
co-workers working under various employment conditions, but find a need to secure that a potential inclusion
policy can assure the right candidate regardless of gender, nationality, age and capabilities.
Value chain control
Moving on from our last year ambitions of assuring
sustainable sourcing practices, and thereby workers
throughout our value chain, we managed to introduce a
policy regarding a more responsible stone programme,
and not least we insourced our production of stone to
our newly build stone production facilities – Still locally
in Aulum and with build-in thoughts og minimizing heavy
lifts, water consumptions, waste etc.
