With partisan margins as tight as can
be in both the House and Senate, and
very different perspectives on climate
issues, it will not be easy to move energy/
environment legislation in the 118th
Congress. This said, there are areas
of potential agreement, such as with
permitting legislation that promotes
domestic energy security, and related
to tax incentives where there is the
potential for dealmaking, where we could
see a bill get to the President’s desk.”
