unilateralist tendencies of the incoming
President, point to a greatly reduced role
on the global stage for the United States.
What that means for a global system
that has been undergirded by American
power and the willingness to use it, is
anybody’s guess. But it calls for creativity
and flexibility by business interests
used to a more globalized international
