BaSE Impact Report 2023 - Flipbook - Page 27
In December, two fantastic SINGA
entrepreneurs visited Hogan Lovells’
Paris office:
Aïcha Souldi of Liya S who produces
organic, argan oil based cosmetics
from Morocco;
Samar Kazour of Sharabeek,
a project that specialises in
handcrafted products such as
clothes, accessories, and decoration
items. Its products are 100%
recyclable. It follows a zero-waste
policy and creates unique pieces
while promoting sustainability.
Sharabeek is proud to be part of
the slow fashion movement, which
emphasises ethical and conscious
fashion practices.
“Sharabeek comes from a Syrian
dialect of Arabic and means
disorganised tangled strings,
thoughts, or lines. Our project
aims to transform chaos into
creative and beautiful designs.”
Samar Kazour,
Founder, Sharabeek
“HL BaSE are delighted to work
with SINGA and to support
inclusion, entrepreneurship and
innovation in the communities we
work in.”
