SINGA
In France, HL BaSE partners with
SINGA, an organisation creating a
link between people with migrant
and refugee backgrounds and locals
with the aim to develop each person’s
social and professional networks,
leading to the creation of many
opportunities, including access to
culture, employment, education and
housing. SINGA’s activities prove that
social and economic innovation stems
from migration and social connections.
The entrepreneurship programme at
SINGA uses cultural diversity and new
encounters as driving forces behind
creation and innovation. At Lille,
Lyon, Nantes, Paris and Strasbourg, it
supports newcomers and locals together
to grow and develop associations that
are creative, impactful and thriving. HL
BaSE partnered with SINGA to provide
pro bono legal advice to some of the
start-ups supported by its incubators.
