This 2022 Corporate Resiliency Report includes
ESG policies, initiatives and goals implemented
by Highwoods that are considered material to our
stakeholders and is organized by ESG category:
Environmental, Social and Governance.
This report was developed to align with key
disclosures of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
Sustainability Standards, United Nations (UN)
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Task Force on
Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and the
Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
The reporting scope includes 100% of our owned and
managed assets comprising 28.8 million square feet in
2022. Same property performance reported from the
2016 baseline includes those that were in operation
during both the baseline year and 2022, similarly for
year-over-year changes from 2021. The environmental
data in this report was externally verified by our
consultant breea according to GRESB standards using
the ISO 14063 standard.
