TECHNICAL DESIGN
CERTIFIED HAZARD PROTECTIVE WORKWEAR
At first glance, a Flame Resistant and ARC Flash garment may appear
like any other item of workwear but in order to ensure the protection
of the wearer, and ahieive CE and UKCA marking regulations, the
design of these garments is critical. It’s important that each and every
garment maintains these design features in production to ensure
ongoing compliance.
Many of the HAZTEC® garments are certified according to
European and UK norms including:
• EN ISO 11612 (Heat and Flame Protection)
• EN ISO 11611 (Welding Protection)
• EN 1149 (Antistatic)
• IEC 61482 (ARC Flash Protection)
• EN ISO 20471 (Hi-Visibility Clothing)
• RIS-3279-TOM (Railway Standard)
• EN 13034 (Chemical Splash)
PATTERN CUTTING AND PROTOTYPING
BESPOKE FR AS WORKWEAR
HAZTEC® garments are original and created by our skilled team of
product developers, pattern cutters and sample makers. It’s critical
that we maintain control on the sizing and key design features so
each pattern is carefully developed using digital software, prototyped
and field tested multiple times before being moved into production.
Only by following this process can you be assured of an authentic and
certified protective garment by HAZTEC®.
If your company has sufficient employees to meet minimum order
quantities, then Bespoke garments could be an option for you to set
yourselves apart from the crowd. Typical order quantity examples are
500pcs for polo shirts, and 200pcs for trousers.
This ability to develop patterns in-house also gives us the ability to
respond quickly to new projects or customer requests for bespoke
sizes so you can equip your entire team with the same workwear.
