New ADR legislation
was introduced, after
which the founder, John
Piddington, began his
business with a vision
for keeping workers
safe on the road.
Following direction &
a change of
management, the
Hazchem product range
expanded to include
many more items of PPE
& Workwear, as well as a
far wider range of safety
signage.
The market leading
brand we know as
Haztec was born.
Hazchem found a
factory capable of
manufacturing a more
comfortable, inherent
FR fabric.
2018-2019
2020-2021
With a range of Haztec
garments & the company
heritage in ADR Signage
& Kits, Hazchem Safety
thrived as a key supplier
to the Petrochemical &
hazardous transport
industry.
The directors of Donside
Safety & Hazchem agreed
to merge, which brought a
new, exciting dimension to
the business in the
Offshore & Marine
Industry.

2014
The size & scale at which
our clients were
operating raised an
ordering issue, which
Hazchem solved with
the inception of the
bespoke Lynx Order
Management - an easy
to use, tailored to the
customer, online
ordering system.
2023 AND BEYOND
Hazchem moved to a new
National Distribution Centre
in Buckingham, England, giving
Hazchem 3 times more warehouse
space. Also, Hazchem’s Sizing &
Showroom Van Innovation began.

SUSTAINABILITY GOALS
Here at Hazchem Safety, we are on our journey towards a
more sustainable future. For this, we have taken leaps
within industry to help our EcoVadis Supplier e昀昀orts of
which we obtained in 2023. Our e昀昀orts include introducing
an Electric Delivery Van up in Aberdeen, creating new 100%
Recycled & Recyclable Hazchem packaging cartons for your
deliveries and launching our 昀椀rst ORKA Eco FR AS ARC
Coverall. We strive to meet Net Zero by 2030.
