Communication
At Hartford Manor we recognise the importance of having strong relationships
with the parents/ carers of all of our children. Nursery, Reception and whole
school newsletters are emailed to parents/carers every other week; these are
also published on our website. Parents/Carers are encouraged to speak to their
child’s class teacher and to contact us if they have any questions or concerns at
any time through-out the year.
We use the School Gateway parent engagement app; this enables users to pay
for lunches, wraparound care, school trips and to receive communications with
the school.
We hold three parent consultation evenings each year. The first is held in
November, the second in March and the third in July. We offer the choice of a
virtual or face to face appointment.
These appointments give parents/carers the opportunity to speak to teachers
about your child’s progress and to talk through their termly report.
Parents/Carers are invited to make an appointment using our online booking
system.
We use Tapestry Learning Journal to share snapshots of the children’s learning in
Nursery- Year 2. We use Microsoft Teams to post homework tasks in Years 3-6.
