CommunicationAt Hartford Manor we recognise the importance of having strong relationshipswith the parents/ carers of all of our children. Nursery, Reception and wholeschool newsletters are emailed to parents/carers every other week; these arealso published on our website. Parents/Carers are encouraged to speak to theirchild’s class teacher and to contact us if they have any questions or concerns atany time through-out the year.We use the School Gateway parent engagement app; this enables users to payfor lunches, wraparound care, school trips and to receive communications withthe school.We hold three parent consultation evenings each year. The first is held inNovember, the second in March and the third in July. We offer the choice of avirtual or face to face appointment.These appointments give parents/carers the opportunity to speak to teachersabout your child’s progress and to talk through their termly report.Parents/Carers are invited to make an appointment using our online bookingsystem.We use Tapestry Learning Journal to share snapshots of the children’s learning inNursery- Year 2. We use Microsoft Teams to post homework tasks in Years 3-6.School MealsAt Hartford Manor we believe that children deserve a delicious and nutritiousmeal at lunchtime. With the support of Edsential, we offer an appetising menudesigned especially for our children. There is always a great selection to choosefrom including pasta dishes, wholesome roast dinners, homemade cakes, biscuitsand fresh fruit. The the price of a school meal is £2.79 per day (£13.95 per week).All Key Stage 1 children are entitled to a universal free school meal.
