GROUP FITNESS
Ages 16 and older are welcome to join our group classes. In an effort better serve our members the YMCA offers a year-round
fitness program for members only. No reservations are required. Please refer to our group exercise schedule on our website.
Classes /Instructors are subject to change. All notifications of any class changes are available through our Remind app.
Are you considering a membership? We encourage Potential Members to try one of our Group Exercise classes at no cost

GROUP FITNESS CLASSES
Pilates
BodyCombatTM
This high-energy martialarts inspired workout it totally non-contact and
there are no complex moves to master. You will
release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ.
Focuses on breathing and alignment, low and
precise movements are designed to develop long
and lean muscles which increases flexibility,
improves posture, and provides great mobility.
Power Ride
Cycle class
BodyPumpTM
AGES: 16 AND UP
This workout challenges all
of your major muscle groups by using the
best weight room exercises such as squats,
presses, curls and lifts. The ultimate in a full body,
weight training experience.
Body Pump Express
This workout challenges all of your major muscle
groups by using the best weight room exercises
such as squats, presses, curls and lifts. The
ultimate in a full body, weight training experience.
Boot Camp
Expect the unexpected...class will vary each
time using body weight exercises or equipment.
There will always be some element of cardio and
strength. Options for all fitness levels. Be sure to
bring your mat, extra water and lots of energy!
Cardio Fit
45 minutes of full body weight training with cardio
bursts. All fitness levels with modifications as
needed.
Cardio Fusion
This class is a high volume (reps) with bursts of
cardio.
Chair Yoga
This class will move your whole body through
a complete series of seated and standing yoga
poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform
a variety of postures designed to increase
flexibility, balance and range of movement.
Circuit Training
45 minutes of full body weight training intervals.
All fitness levels with modifications as needed.
Core
A scientific core workout for incredible core
tone and ports performance. You build strength,
stability and endurance in the muscles that
support your core, improve balance, assist injury
prevention, and become better at everything you
do.
Flex & Fit
Similar to Tabata, Flex & Fit uses weights for
upper body (30 seconds, 45 seconds, or 1
minute) followed by (rest time) and a lower body
movement for (30 seconds, 45 seconds, or 1
minute).
Les Mills RPM
A highly motivating and often addictive cycle
workout that lets members burn calories, build
cardio fitness, and dial up the challenge factor to
match their fitness level.
Pilates Focusyoga
Designed as a physical, mental, and spiritual
practice or discipline that aims to transform the
body and mind through a series of controlled
movements and breathing techniques.
R.I.P.P.E.D.
This training method combines high-intensity
cardio movements mixed with dynamic strength
and sculpting exercises.
SH’BAM
A dance workout that combines cardio, muscle
conditioning, balance and flexibility training.
LIVESTRONG AT THE
YMCA
LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is a free 12-week
program for adult cancer survivors. Trained
YMCA Personal Trainers work with each
participant as they transition from treatment
to regaining their physical and emotional
strength.
Trainers develop individual programs in a
Small Group setting to help participants:

Silver & Fit
Designed for the older adults focusing on
cardiovascular exercise, strength training,
balance and flexibility. Moderate level of wellbalanced exercise routine for heart health,
cardiovascular, muscular endurance, strength,
flexibility and balance.
Spin
For all levels and capabilities, this class focuses
on endurance, strength intervals, high intensity
race training, hills, and recovery.
TABATA
Breaks a workout down into intervals 20 seconds
of pushing it to your limit followed by 10 seconds
of rest. Repeating for a series of 8.
Toning
This class will work your arms, legs and core
strength along with your balance.
Yoga & Meditation
Cultivates Body-Mind connection and integration.
It asks you to slow down between thoughts and
before actions, which allows you to look into
your inner landscape to find space, freedom,
and peace. It also helps you release stress and
build up your resilience physically, mentally, and
emotionally. The class either begins or ends with
a 15-20 minute guided meditation, transitions
smoothly into a 1-hour yoga asana (posture)
practice, and ends with some sweet relaxation.
PARKINSON’S PWR PROGRAM
This class is specifically designed for participants 30
years and older who are diagnosed with Idiopathic
Parkinson’s Disease (PD.) Studies have shown that
pedaling a bicycle at a rapid pace, optimally 80-90
revolutions per minute can reduce symptoms of
PD by 35% and even slow the progression of the
disease. This class will be led by our own instructor,
Kim Spletter, who also lives with PD.
Participants will need to meet the following criteria:
Clinical diagnosis of PD and medical clearance.
Exclusion: Dementia, cardio or pulmonary disease,
uncontrolled diabetes, uncontrolled hypertension or
stroke. Min-7, Max-11; Location: Cycle Room.

Zumba
A highly popular Latin-inspired dance workout
delivers a dynamic and exciting fitness experience
in a party-like atmosphere. All fitness levels
welcome!
Zumba Toning
Drawing upon the classic dance cardio party with
Latin rhythms, this workout uses light weight
toning sticks or dumbbells incorporating low and
high impact options to sculpt your body naturally.
