gods: Caviar

For many, caviar is synonymous with luxury and fine dining,
making it a dream gift for foodies.
Caviar comes from the Persian word khaviar, which means “egg
carrier.” Traditional caviar is the roe from wild sturgeon raised
in the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea and has historically been
called “black gold”.
We offer two types of opulent caviar in our hampers, Oscietra
and Beluga. The Oscietra is known for its nutty, slightly fruity
flavour that lingers on the tongue, while the Beluga caviar are
the largest, so they have more of a ‘popping’ texture with a
creamy, buttery, smooth flavour and hints of walnut.
