General
Habonim’s Sanitary product line valves are subject to the general Habonim valves design,
materials, practices, methodologies and certifications – for more information, see Valves

Habonim Sanitary valves are equipped (in some series) with the Total HermetiX integrity
package for superior sealing, safety and environmental care.
Sanitary Valve
Habonim’s line of Sanitary ball valves for the pharmaceutical, bioprocessing, food and beverage
industries is in wide use in leading production and research facilities.
Features
Materials
• FDA and USP Class VI compliant polymers or elastomers are used in the series.
• Controlled ferrite cast or forged bar materials are used and polished (in some series) to
avoid rouging on austenitic stainless-steel surfaces and corrosion attack on welding areas.
• Electro-polished surface finishes are available upon request for some series.
• EC 1935 - as an option
Design
• Purge and drain ports are available upon request to facilitate CIP/SIP operation.
• Diverter and various multiport configurations are available upon request.
Reference standards
• 48 and R48 series valves are designed and tested according to ASME BPE standard.
• EC 1935 compliance – as an option.
