THE CITY
A city of history and culture
As well as a rich history, you’ll find that Bath is also a city
of culture. There are plenty of museums and galleries to
explore on rainy days. We recommend the Holburne Museum
and Victoria Art Gallery, both beautiful, listed buildings and
perfect for discovering art in every sense of the word. There

architectural masterpieces like the Royal Crescent and the
Circus.

of the River Avon, which runs through the city, and again,

and walks along the canals and waterways, which are a
sight-to-behold, whatever the season.
Perched over the River Avon - and one of the most
photographed bridges in the UK - is Pulteney Bridge, which
was completed in 1774 and has shops on both sides - making
it one of only four shop-lined bridges in the world! Just over
the bridge is where you’ll find No. 15…
