When it comes to nightclubs, there’s the exclusive, there’s the private, and then there’s the sultry, secluded luxury that can
only be found in Motel – if, that is, you can find it at all behind its unassuming doors and hidden location.
But don’t let its outwardly appearance fool you – inside, you are transported to a velvety, red portal of hedonistic elegance in
an environment where secrecy is so revered, mobile phones are banned.
This private members’ dining club offers live entertainment and the finest French cuisine in a Parisienne-inspired setting that
exudes opulence and comfort. In fact, the ambience is charged with an energy that is so sensuous, it’s intoxicating. Set over
two floors, a majestic bar counter and a mixing table take centre stage when it comes to setting the rhythm of the night.
And, if you want to make this private club even more intimate, there are also two private rooms, each with their own bar, and
a DJ booth that can be reserved for parties and events. So, you can curate your very own tête à tête within Motel’s already
super-private club — where else can you experience that?
You never need a reason, to laugh, celebrate and surround yourself with your favourite people, but, if you did, the incredible
food and unforgettable live shows are very good ones indeed. On Thursdays, expect the unexpected, with events such as
live flamenco dancing and singing with remarkable art figures as Remedios Amaya or Israel Fernández blindfolded tasting
experiences providing unique and sensory experiences. Fridays and Saturdays see surprise performances during dinner
service, and, when dinner is over, it’s time to get the party started, when dancers lead the way, as top international DJs like
Sylvain Armand, Nic Fancculli or Satori take the wheel and steer this party into the early hours, or, for the most committed
partiers, 6am when doors close.
Membership is on an annual basis and comes with a personal, non-transferable card that allows you (and a maximum of two
guests) to leave the real world behind and enter an enigmatic realm of timeless elegance and unadulterated fun.
The list of those hoping to gain membership is long and ever-growing. Because the truth is, that during autumn and winter,
when Motel opens its doors, this is the place where everyone that’s anyone wants to be seen, especially at special events
such as the opening party in early October to the risqué Lingerie event for Halloween, Le Doleur Exquise in November,
Motel Rouge for New Year’s Eve, L’ Amour Motel in February and the closing event in March.
