Growing up in Grand Bahama, Thomas was deeply
influenced by the powerful music and intricate artistry
that form the backbone of Junkanoo culture. Over the
years, he honed his craft, initially as a drummer with the
Superstar Rockers, where he became the lead drummer
at the age of 15. He later expanded his talents,
contributing to various groups, including the Majestic
Crusaders, where he served as both the lead drummer
and assistant leader. But his true calling was to lead a
group of his own, and in 2013, the Platinum Knights
Junkanoo group was born.
