Here’s to a
Grand
Summer
The journey of 2024 is well on its way to being one of the
most iconic years within the last decade here on Grand
Bahama Island.
This island is poised for a resurgence like never before.
Already, we’re witnessing the wheels of progress turning as
monumental groundbreakings for projects like Carnival’s
Celebration Key and the O2 Resort to name a few, will soon
commence with vertical construction. These developments,
along with many others on the horizon, are set to elevate
Grand Bahama's offerings to new heights, attracting visitors
and investors alike.
Our unwavering commitment to the growth of Freeport's
economy makes Grand Bahama an ideal destination for
business ventures of all kinds. But beyond the boardroom,
there's a world of adventure and culture waiting to be
explored.
We invite you to take a break from the hustle and bustle and
immerse yourself in the unique charm of Grand Bahama.
Indulge in unique dining experiences and embrace the
vibrant tapestry of our culture by engaging in local activities.
Fashion and art enthusiasts, mark your calendars for two
major events sponsored by the Grand Bahama Port Authority
that will highlight the creativity and talent of local fashion
designers and artists on Grand Bahama. In March, Freeport
Fashion Week will make its debut and is anticipated to
become an annual premier event in the region. Then, in April,
the ArtLucaya Festival will gather professional, upcoming
and student artists from all over the island. Under the theme
"Show Me Your Motion," artists will unveil their
interpretations, drawing inspiration from a cherished
Bahamian childhood activity known as "ring play." This theme
embodies the vibrancy and energy of our culture.
Come and celebrate the spirit of Grand Bahama and
embrace the endless possibilities that lie ahead.
