The Bahamas’ golden anniversary year is
coming to a close, but there is still so much to
celebrate!
The Grand Bahama Port Authority (GBPA)

There is a great deal underway and planned
throughout the remainder of 2023 and 2024.
We have a few surprises in store including a
special unveiling in Freeport’s historic
Churchill Square in early November. The
Island’s popular and greatly anticipated
Conchman Triathlon is scheduled for
November 4. In addition to the usual elements
of Triathlon, the Conchman includes
children’s events, making it a true family
affair. There will be music, beachfront
Bahamian cuisine and more – it’s a uniquely
Grand Bahamian celebration and as much
fun to watch as it is to compete!
It’s an ideal time to visit beautiful Grand
