GULLY WASH 2 WAYS
A Simple Recipe & A Twist On The Classic
Gully Wash is a beloved, yet simple cocktail
that can be found throughout Grand
Bahama. For an expertly prepared blend,
check out one of the ocean-side vendors at
the Smith’s Point Fish Fish or West End.
However, if you want to recreate this cocktail
at home, try one of these simple recipes.
For a non-traditional but delicious holiday
inspired twist, you can also add a splash of
cinnamon whisky. Cocoa bitters are also a
great addition to this drink.
The Classic Gully Wash
3/4c Gin
1c Coconut Water
1/2c Sweet Milk aka Condensed Milk
A Twist On The Classic
1c Coconut Water
1/2c Gin
1/3c Sweet Milk aka Condensed Milk
1/2c Coconut Rum
Top with a light shaving of nutmeg
Toasted sweetened coconut for garnish (optional)
Directions
*The amount of gin & sweet milk can be adjusted in each recipe according to your preferences.
*For each cocktail, add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
*Shake until ingredients are well blended.
*Pour over ice and serve.
